Habitat Spy app for iPhone and iPad

Told in rhyming narrative, Habitat Spy invites children to find plants (or algae), invertebrates, birds, and mammals living in thirteen different North American habitats: backyard, beach, bog, cave, desert, forest, meadow, mountain, ocean, plains, pond, river, and swamp. Children will have fun discovering the characteristics of each habitat as they “spy,” identify, and count the resident plants and animals and learn about the interactions between living and non-living things.

This individual eBook App will read-aloud in both English and Spanish with manual or auto page advance. Switch language any time and the page text changes and the reading restarts on the same page with your newly selected language.

Habitat Spy is designed to be both a fun-to-read story and a launch pad for discussion and learning. It features a 4-page For Creative Minds educational section in the back. And, through the "More.." button on the navigation bar, you will find a 70-page cross-curricular Teaching Activity Guide (includes 3 coloring pages available for printing on our website), 3 interactive quizzes (Reading Comprehension, For Creative Minds, & Math Word Problems), a page of Related Websites (linked with parent gate) for further study, and a short trailer.

There is also an optional login feature (on the navbar with parent gate) so that you can view Habitat Spy on your computers (login through our homepage), androids (new App available in March), and other devices). The login also enables eBook access though our free Fun eReader App and consolidation with other Arbordale titles.
